Oh my, I seem to have lost track of time again. Looking for a job *mostly* full time now since I can't seem to settle down and work on models full time either. I'm at a standstill with most of them. I'm not quite sure how to continue painting the Nitro, oils are new to me and I don't want to mess up horribly on such a large horse. (I knew I should have practiced on a cheap sm or something). And the LG body is legless again. At least all is not lost. I've gotten quite a few new models to distract me. :)
My good friend Christine got me a Della Robbia for my Andy conga, I am so thrilled!
My guy got me a Ethereal Fire and the new Secretariat. I knew there was a reason I kept him around. Lol
I saw this little gal and couldn't pass her up. I'm not a huge fan of the yearling mold, but the color on this one is great. I'm pretty sure her name is Vail.
I received the next few in a trade. Magnifico, Padron's Psyche and Uncalled For. Thinking about it, I'm rather astounded at how many of these horse are chestnuts. I'm a bay person, how did that happen?
This is a CM Sandicast by Dani Schacht. I saw him when she first listed him for sale, but didn't have the money at the time. This has to be my all time favorite color on a horse, that yummy super dark mealy bay. (must be why I love my mare! Lol)
This guy is going to get a little bit of CM work done to him. I'm planning on having a bullfighting scene with Alvaro. :)
I finally managed to get a picture of Chickory. Another model I'm glad I have a macro setting for.
I think I'm going to paint him similar to this guy. Debating if I'm going to make him a black and white or a bay and white.
Mel Miller was having a sale on her resins during December and I had to pick up a Have Blue. I absolutely love my Fly By Wire she sculpted, but I saw Braymere's CM FBW without the base and I love the idea. I just have to figure out how to get that wire off! Suggestions?
This is one of those horse I don't know if I should admit to having. O:) After a long period of time payments, I was able to get my grail model. I'm even more thrilled that he's unpainted! Three guesses what color he's going to be. I have to say, I've never seen a horse with so many pinholes, but I haven't had a chance to see any unpainted Ebrels recently. Lol.
Ok, two silly pictures. Mostly to prove that I have no space at all. Here's my chestnuts having a nice conversation. (I think they're talking about Nitro, he doesn't look very happy about it either!)
And I don't think the bull got a very good meal on his way over, he's snacking on all my SM's!!!
Ok, I think that's all for now. I really need my muse to come back, my ponies need some lovin'.
